Superyacht Garage Design

Route Analysis

Our Route Analysis service organises your onboard movement of people and equipment.

We propose the best way for people and gear to travel through the yacht, highlighting challenges and making optimal storage suggestions.

The result? A detailed, practical plan that helps your crew store, launch, and retrieve everything with ease.

In the example shown below, we’re analysing the full flow of watersports equipment, including ten SEABOBs, ten Fliteboards, twenty canoes, two hundred wetsuits, thirty sets of goggles, snorkels, and fins, and more. Each item has a home. Each route is measured. We factor in distance, steps, corners, and changes in level to produce an efficient plan that prioritises safety, speed, and simplicity.

It’s not just about where things are kept. It’s about how they move—and how your crew moves with them. Our Route Analysis service is designed to clarify and control the movement of equipment and people on board. Whether superyacht or not, the principles are the same: clear routes, smart storage, and seamless operation.

We start by studying your internal layout, mapping the journeys that crew and guests will take, and examining how large or heavy items make their way from storage to sea and back again. Using colour-coded diagrams and practical data, we visualise how key areas are connected: storage zones, garage openings, and guest access points.

As part of the process, we also propose the ideal location for all key infrastructure—shelving, workbenches, sink wash stations, drying racks, hanging racks, storage bins, and gear bags—based on the flow of use and accessibility.

Our recommendations extend to electrical planning too, identifying the best placement for fast and slow charging points to support equipment turnaround and safe charging practices.

Every detail is considered to streamline operations and reduce manual handling, helping your crew work efficiently in even the most demanding environments.
