Superyacht deck equipment specialists Shipyard Supply Co (SSCo) has project managed the design of a new custom boat hook for an 80m superyacht. Currently in build, the 7m carbon boat hook has been designed to help crew during tender operations in and out of a tender bay.

SSCo commercial manager Luke Porter explained, “This particular boat hook has been customised to solve a specific challenge onboard the mothership.  However, it is a versatile product that can be adapted in size and functionality depending on the criteria.  The boat hook is multi-use with an interchangeable working end that can be replaced with a different fitting, such as a landing net.  Comprising three, lightweight, telescopic parts, it is quick and easy to stow away.”

SSCo specialises in custom products for superyachts and has the technical expertise in-house to create bespoke items if required.
