Responding to customer demand, superyacht deck equipment specialists Shipyard Supply Co (SSCo) has developed its custom product offering.  In the first six months of trading, SSCo has delivered over 50 bespoke items for superyachts.

Stand-out projects for 2019 include custom tender chocks and boarding steps.

Working closely with the captain of a Lynx Yachts support vessel, SSCo supplied custom chocks for the yacht’s Nautique G23 wake boat.  Having overseen the design and production process, SSCo supplied the chocks and bespoke lifting points to the yacht for testing and final fit.

When a 109m Oceanco superyacht needed steps to provide guest access to a tender with a high freeboard, they contacted SSCo.  Having flown out to the yacht to template the yacht’s transom, SSCo worked with Henshaw Inflatables on the design of the steps.

Keeping a close eye on quality and ensuring an exact fit for the stainless steel hand-rail, SSCo visited Henshaw during the production process and reported back to the yacht.  The steps were wrapped in white Hypalon and topped with a non-skid, faux-teak finish, complete with the yacht’s logo.
