Despite these difficult and challenging times for all businesses, SSCo are delighted to announce that the team is continuing to grow having recently recruited its newest member, Sam Hall.

Sam has recently joined Shipyard Supply Co. as project manager from Fox’s Marina in Ipswich, where he worked for four years as a client coordinator and a valued member of the rigging team. He has an impressive background in the marine industry fulfilling various roles from project managing refits to working as a yacht rigger – you name it, he’s done it!

At SSCo, Sam oversees all projects from start to finish and is on hand to offer friendly and professional advice backed up by his years’ of experience in the industry. The team are extremely excited to welcome Sam as he will benefit SSCo massively with his winning combination of skills and experience and will take a key role within the company.

Growing up locally, he is the son of British yachtsman Josh Hall, whose has sailed solo round the world in the Vendée Globe and BOC Race. Sam has been a lifelong sailor, having started locally on a sailing course at Alton Water Sports Centre before progressing to crewing for his dad in his Open 60 at several Cowes Week regattas. Sam has worked on the Vendee Globe Open 60 projects and Class 40’s.
