Vertical Pillar Fenders

As a specialist provider of fendering systems for superyachts, we design and manufacture our carbon vertical pillar fenders in-house.

These fenders offer robust protection for yachts, tenders and passengers at a height not provided by transom fenders alone.

Available in two versions, each offer tailored protection depending on usage requirements:

Standard
- Unit weight: 20 kg each
- Calculated to withstand up to 8 tonnes of force
Heavy-Duty
- Unit weight: 30 kg each
- Calculated to withstand up to 15 tonnes of force

Both variants are constructed from carbon fibre and feature a full-height, high-density foam pad, creating a durable impact barrier between tender and transom.

Our Standard Pillar Fender

Practical design

Each fender integrates stainless steel or carbon fibre handles, providing a secure and ergonomic handhold for passengers moving between the yacht and tender.

Thanks to their lightweight and low-profile construction, a single crew member can deploy the Standard pillar fenders, ensuring a swift and efficient setup.

While typically requiring more personnel to handle, the Heavy-Duty version delivers enhanced impact resistance where needed.

Fine finishes

With our expert technicians and state-of-the-art facilities, including a Haltec spray booth equipped with an integrated Reactor 2 E-XP2 Proportioner and advanced air compressor systems, we deliver exceptional paint and polyurea finishes for our pillar fenders.

Our carbon pillar fenders can be finished in any RAL colour or even fluorescent paint, ensuring both seamless integration with the yacht’s aesthetic and enhanced visibility where required.

Fender systems installation

We supply our pillar fenders alongside our transom fenders, giving clients the flexibility to integrate a complete fendering system or opt for individual components.

However, it is essential to note that our pillar fenders are designed to work exclusively with our custom socket system—existing handrail sockets are incompatible. Our design team will direct you on the best course of action.
